ISO 9001:2000 Auditor Training with emphasis on ISO/TS 16949:2002

DESCRIPTION

This intensive, three day course presents an in-depth analysis of the audit cycle, the ISO/TS 16949 standard, the ISO 9001:2000 and related standards. World-class training techniques include state-of-the-art audio-visual presentations, workshops, interactive lectures, quizzes, and team-based exercises. Each evening, team-based assignments supplement lecture and text material. Students will learn and develop auditor skills to function as first party auditors. As a Certified Internal Auditor, you can assist your organization in conducting more effective internal audits and supplier audits.

In addition, this course covers the American Society for Quality (ASQ) Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) body of knowledge (Adobe PDF).

RABQSA recognizes the ASQ Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) for immediate certification as an RABQSA certified QMS Provisional Auditor in the Accredited (ISO/IEC17024:2003) QMS Personnel Certification Scheme.

Students may apply for the Quality Auditor Certification exam in the USA, Canada, and Mexico. International Certification Affiliates administer the Quality Auditor Certification exam in other countries.

Course materials provided to the students include copies of the ISO/TS 16949 standard, the ISO 9001:2000 and related standards and a student workbook.

In this two-day course, participants will learn how to provide detailed interpretation of the ISO/TS 16949:2002 standard with the objective of implementing a non-bureaucratic and efficient quality system. Participants will learn where ISO/TS 16949:2002 allows for tremendous flexibility in reducing the bulk of procedures and how to defend their quality system with registrars. This two day course is designed for companies involved in implementing the ISO/TS 16949:2002 Standard. Participants will learn how to interpret the appropriate standard, how to develop an implementation plan and how to write a Quality Manual and related procedures for compliance with the standard. Flowcharting is used as a tool to generate effective Quality System documentation. Case studies are used to provide examples from various business sectors. The course is designed for personnel involved with planning, implementing and documenting quality procedures and work instructions.

This ISO/TS 16949 internal auditor course is designed for personnel involved in internal auditing activities of a Quality Management System. Through analysis of ISO/TS 16949:2002 as well as management auditing principles, the course will teach participants to function as effective Internal QMS Auditors and to interpret the technical specification from an auditor's perspective. TS 16949 case studies are used throughout the course to provide examples and to highlight the auditing function as a continuous improvement tool. The course will teach participants to:
