What is Black Belt Six Sigma Certification ?Certification is formal recognition by ASQ (American Society for Quality) that an individual has demonstrated a proficiency within and a comprehension of a specified body of knowledge at a point in time. It is peer recognition and not registration or licensure. Global Quality Systems will award you a Six Sigma Black Belt Certificate of Completion in recognition of the comprehension and implementation skills of the ASQ Black Belt Six Sigma body of knowledge. How do I achieve my Black Belt Six Sigma Certification ?1.- You will receive a Six Sigma Black Belt Practitioner Diploma upon completion of the training portion of the Black Belt Six Sigma Certification program. 2.- Global Quality Systems will award
you a Six Sigma Black Belt Certificate of Completion if you complete
one six sigma project and pass all quizzes with an score higher than 70%. 4.- You will submit to ASQ a project affidavit form describing one or two completed six sigma projects. ASQ certification costs are not included in the Global Quality Systems course fee. To see the ASQ Certification rates click here. 5.- You are required to pass a written examination that consists of multiple choice questions that measure comprehension of the Body of Knowledge. The Six Sigma Black Belt Certification is a four-hour, 150 multiple-choice question examination. It is offered in the English language only. 6.- Examinations are conducted twice a year, in March and October, by local ASQ sections and international organizations. All examinations are open-book. Each participant must bring his or her own reference materials. Use of reference materials and calculators is explained in the seating letter provided to applicants. Back to Top
How long does it take to obtain my exam results ?Global Quality Systems exam results are communicated immediately. ASQ examination results for pilot exams and exams with updated BOKs are mailed within six weeks. Otherwise, examination results are mailed about two weeks (three weeks for Manager results) after the examination date (delays may occur with international mail). ASQ recognizes that prompt notification of examination results is important and ASQ will make every effort to provide results as soon as possible. Results will not be given over the telephone. Information about certification is never divulged to third parties except at the written request of the person who took the examination. Your examination results are kept in strict confidence. What are the work experience requirements ?You must have two completed work projects with signed affidavits or one project with signed affidavit and three years of work experience as it pertains to the Body of Knowledge. No education waiver given. Back to Top
Can I be Certified in my country ?Yes, Global Quality Systems will award you a Six Sigma Black Belt Certificate of Completion in any country. If you live in a country other than the United States, Canada, or Mexico, the ASQ certification examinations are administered by international certification affiliates. Back to Top |
